ASCS Cloud (AS Computer Solutions d/b/a ASCS Cloud) — Last Updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AS Computer Solutions, operating as and doing business as ASCS Cloud ("ASCS Cloud," "we," or "us"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Services we provide. We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our customers' data and infrastructure.
Section 1 — Infrastructure Custodianship & Access Restrictions
1.1 Customer Data Ownership
As the custodian of the underlying infrastructure, AS Computer Solutions d/b/a ASCS Cloud provides the compute, storage, and networking resources that host your virtual private servers, cloud storage, and other Services. All data, content, and configurations that you deploy, upload, or generate on the Services ("Customer Data") remain your sole property. We do not commingle, inspect, or claim ownership of your Customer Data except as required to operate, secure, and support the infrastructure.
1.2 Access Restrictions
Access to the ASCS Cloud infrastructure and backend systems is strictly restricted to authorized personnel and automated systems that require it to deliver, maintain, and secure the Services. AS Computer Solutions does not permit unauthorized access to customer environments. We will not access, view, read, or modify your Customer Data except:
- to the extent necessary to provide the Services, diagnose faults, or perform maintenance;
- to protect the security and integrity of our infrastructure and customers;
- to comply with a valid court order, subpoena, or legal obligation; or
- with your express authorization.
Administrative access to customer instances is logged and performed only by authorized staff under documented procedures. We will not disclose your Customer Data to any third party except as described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Section 2 — Security & Breach Notifications
2.1 Infrastructure Security
AS Computer Solutions maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect our systems and the infrastructure underlying the Services against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to infrastructure systems is controlled through layered authentication, including multi-factor authentication for administrative accounts, session controls, and audit logging. We encrypt data in transit and employ network segmentation, intrusion detection, and regular security reviews.
2.2 Breach Notification
In the event that AS Computer Solutions discovers a confirmed security incident or breach that compromises the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of our infrastructure or customer data under our custodianship, we will notify affected customers promptly, in accordance with applicable law and our operational procedures. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice within a commercially reasonable time after discovery of the incident, and in any case within the timeframes required by law. Where permitted and in our sole discretion where legally permissible, we may provide further remediation or credit details via the ASCS Cloud customer portal, email, or our status page (statuscheck.ascsonoway.com).
2.3 What We Collect
To operate the Services, we collect and process limited information, including: the information you provide when registering an account (name, email, and a password that is stored only as a salted hash); the IP address and device information associated with your use; and order/subscription details necessary for billing and fulfillment. Payment information is processed by our third-party payment processor and is not stored on our systems. We also collect anonymized analytics to improve the Services.
